Regular Checks Can Reduce Cost And Frequency Of Hyundai Service

You must perform a few consistent checks on your car in between two services. This will reduce the cost of Hyundai Service and ensure the higher efficiency of your car.

To start with, you should do fluid checks.

• Check the oil after every two weeks or so. The car should be on a level ground when you perform this check. If you want your car to perform well, you should fill the oil to the maximum level.

• Next, check the fluid levels in the coolant, power steering and brake components. Make sure that the washer bottle is full and have the right proportion of screen wash mix.

• Follow it up by checking the wiper blades and look for signs of cracks. Also make sure that the wiper jets are aimed correctly.

Check the tires for damages, excessive wear and cuts as well as loose or missing nuts. If you are at a Hyundai Service station, check tire pressure with a gauge and its alignment and adjust it if required. Also check the battery and make sure that the cables are clean and electrolyte level is adequate.

• Let it reach usual operating temperature

When you check brake fluid level, which should be between the MAX and MIN marks on the reservoir, clean the area before removing the reservoir cap to add brake fluid. This will prevent contamination of the brake fluid. While checking the engine coolant level, make sure that the engine is not running or hot. The level should be between F and L marks. If it is low, add recommended coolant till it reaches F level but do not overfill.
